Anuj Sawhney, the upcoming bollywood talent first came into lime light with ‘Nayee Padosan’, his first debut comedy film.

In the movie, Anuj Sawhney played the character of Raju, one among the three guys who fell head over heels in love with their Nayee Padosan, played by Mahek Chahal. The story of the movie revolves around how the three eligible bachelors try to prove their eligibility and try to get the girl. The film goes through different emotional graphs entertaining the viewers to the outmost. The character played by Anuj and his performance in the movie was recognized and enjoyed by all the viewers.

Tom Dick and Harry was the next movie where people loved Anuj Sawhney’s performance. Tom Dick and Harry was a roller coaster ride movie with three physically handicapped guys – deaf, blind and dumb. In the movie Anuj played Dick, the blind guy.

But Anuj Sawhney’s best acclaimed performance was in Kalpana Lajmi’s movie ‘Chingaari’. The movie was based on the theme of women empowerment with Sushmita Sen in the lead role playing the role of Basanti who was a prostitute. In the movie Anuj Sawhney played Chandan who was the village postman, who along with letters delivered his heart to Basanti. He very well played the character of Chandan and people just loved his performance in the movie.

Anuj Sawhney was also loved by people in the movies like Naina, Fun2shh and Life mein kabhi kabhi.
